why the sea on the tide has no way of turning

I have a ton of stuff to do, so of course, I’ll find a thousand other things to do instead.

Like read Cold Comfort Farm (on TFV’s rec), which was absolutely hilarious, and I loved it muchly.

And finally watch Lost in Translation, which was more subdued, but lovely and wistful, about being disconnected and the odd ways people do finally connect (a theme near and dear to my heart). And you can’t go wrong with Elvis Costello and Roxy Music, either, so… *G*

I tried to convince my father to watch Eternal Sunshine of Whatever the Hell with me, but he didn’t go for it.
